We open real accounts at every institution we review, fund them, run transactions, and test customer service firsthand. Our scoring rubrics are public, our methodology is consistent across products, and we publish quarterly re-reviews so rankings reflect current reality.
We are compensated through affiliate relationships with some of the banks, brokerages, and app companies we cover. Partners cannot pay for better rankings, cannot preview or approve editorial content, and cannot remove negative findings.
