FICO Score 8 direct from one of the three credit bureaus. Independent Experian review: 4.3/5 for credit score. Best for FICO tracking and credit boost.

Our verdict
For tracking the score most lenders lean on, Experian's free tier gives you FICO Score 8 straight from the bureau, plus Boost for on-time utility, phone, streaming and rent payments. The free view covers Experian only, and the app keeps pushing CreditWorks Premium at $24.99 a month. Take the free tier and decline the upsell.
Skip it if you want free TransUnion and Equifax scores, or won't share bank access to use Boost.
