Splash Financial Review

A credit union marketplace with the best sentiment in the category and the least disclosure about who actually lends.

By Michael Hewitt, Founder & Editor-in-Chief. Rates last checked September 11, 2026.

Our verdict

Credit union pricing from 3.99% fixed, a soft pull to check and the strongest Trustpilot score in its group make Splash a good first look for refinancers who don't need a cosigner release. Ignore the advertised 3.71% floor, which Splash's own disclosure contradicts. Cosigner release, late fees and the maximum loan all belong to an unnamed partner, so ask who lends.

Skip it if you need a cosigner release, or want to know who the lender is before you apply.
