Wealthfront Review

Automated investing plus a high-yield cash account in one app. Independent Wealthfront review: 4.5/5 for robo-advisor.

By Michael Hewitt, Founder & Editor-in-Chief. Rates last checked September 29, 2026.

Our verdict

Hands-off investors who want taxes handled for them are the fit: Wealthfront runs daily tax-loss harvesting on taxable accounts and stock-level direct indexing from $100K. That tax work is why it rates this well. The cost is a 0.25% annual advisory fee, with a $500 minimum to start investing.

Skip it if you'd rather avoid a 0.25% advisory fee, or can't start with $500.
