WiserAdvisor Review

The longest-running advisor matching service (since 1998) with pre-screened matches in minutes. Independent WiserAdvisor review: 4.3/5 for financial advisors.

Our verdict

Comparison shoppers get 2 to 3 pre-screened advisors from WiserAdvisor, which has matched investors since 1998, with some network advisors taking $25K minimums. The network isn't fiduciary-only, since commission and hybrid advisors are included, and it doesn't disclose network size or matching criteria. Ask each match how they're paid before the first meeting.

Skip it if you'll only work with a fee-only fiduciary, or if you live in a thin rural market.
