The bank's product page says it is paid monthly, while its Truth-in-Savings disclosure says it is credited every quarter, so confirm the schedule with the bank before you open. The other catches are small: $2 a month if you keep paper statements, a variable rate, and a small bank in Caldwell, Ohio whose product page still dates its APY to November 10, 2025.

Skip it if you want paper statements without a fee, or a bank with a national presence.
