PNC Virtual Wallet Review

Three-in-one account (Spend, Reserve, Growth) with up to $400 bonus. Independent PNC Virtual Wallet review: 4/5 for checking.

By Michael Hewitt, Founder & Editor-in-Chief.

Our verdict

Big-bank customers who want budgeting built in get Spend, Reserve and Growth accounts in one at PNC, with Low Cash Mode to help avoid overdraft fees and 2,300+ branches. The cost is a $7 to $25 monthly fee depending on tier, waivable with activity, and the Growth APY stays low unless you're on Performance Select. Those limits keep it from rating higher.

Skip it if you won't meet the monthly fee waiver, or want the savings side to earn a real rate.
