Quontic CDs Review

Online CDs from 3 to 60 months with a $500 minimum, at 4.00% on the 12- and 24-month terms. Independent Quontic CDs review: 0/5 for certificates of deposit.

By Michael Hewitt, Founder & Editor-in-Chief. Rates last checked October 12, 2026.

Our verdict

Quontic's 12- and 24-month CDs pay 4.00% from $500, and the six-month pays 3.75%, but the 36- and 60-month terms drop to 2.85% and 2.75%. Early withdrawals carry penalties that Quontic does not spell out beside the rates, and no money can be added once a CD is open. It is a short-term CD from a digital bank.

Skip it if you want to lock a rate for three to five years, or want the early-withdrawal cost stated up front.
