Business checking with $0 monthly fees and $0 domestic ACH, wire and check fees, from a fintech that banks through Webster Bank and Lead Bank.

Our verdict
Rho charges no monthly, per-user or minimum-balance fees and nothing on domestic ACH, wires or checks, so its costs sit in international payments: a $15 SWIFT fee, 1% to convert currency and $30 to recall an international USD wire. It is a fintech, not a bank. Checking is held at Webster Bank, a division of Santander Bank, N.A., and at Lead Bank, with FDIC coverage of $250,000 per entity at Webster, and Rho states no interest rate on checking. Rho serves US-incorporated businesses with an EIN and does not take sole proprietorships.
Skip it if you are a sole proprietor, want interest on your checking balance, or make a lot of international payments.

What we like
No monthly, per-user or minimum-balance fees, and nothing charged on domestic ACH, wires or checks
Native QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, Sage Intacct and Puzzle connections, by Rho's list
Rho says every account includes 24/7 live human support
Can incorporate a Delaware C-Corp or LLC and open the account in the same flow
Where it falls short
International payments cost more: a $15 SWIFT fee (which Rho says is required in some corridors), a 1% foreign-currency conversion fee and a $30 recall fee on international wires in USD
Rho does not serve sole proprietorships. It needs an EIN, and a US-incorporated business with a US operating address or an owner in the US with a valid SSN
Rho states no interest rate on checking, and FDIC coverage is $250,000 per entity, not per account, at Webster Bank; funds at Lead Bank are covered only when the FDIC's pass-through conditions are met
