Our verdict

Travelers who want a financially strong underwriter get two, rated A+ and A by AM Best, but the advertised $27 buys OneTrip Basic, which caps medical at $10,000 and baggage at $500. Cancel Anytime pays only 80% up to $16,000 and isn't sold on Basic. Price the plan you'd buy, not the one in the ad.

Skip it if you need more than $10,000 of medical cover at the entry price, or Cancel Anytime isn't sold in your state.
